Independence Day: could there be a better day to go meatless? Oh America, you melting pot of culture and food. Today I’m celebrating my freedom to wear cut-offs and flip-flops, listen to Springsteen, Petty and Diamond, and eat veggie dogs, big fat watermelon slices, and this coconut lime granita, courtesy of Food Network’s Aarti Sequeira. Yes, the coconut obsession continues. How are you celebrating today?
