meatless monday: pumpkin pie smoothie

Spice (and not sugar) make this vegan pumpkin pie smoothie a pre-holiday treat that won’t undo your taste for the real stuff (4 more days and counting!). Also a great way to get rid of that pesky little dollop of canned pumpkin, once you’ve already made your pie. Adapted from BlissTree’s easy recipe. Enjoy + Happy Thanksgiving loves! xx

Easy Vegan Pumpkin Pie Smoothie
1/2 c. unsweetened plain almond milk
1/4 c. canned pumpkin (or butternut squash)
1/8 tsp. cinnamon
pinch of nutmeg
pinch of allspice
pinch of cloves
1 frozen banana (in small chunks)

Place ingredients in blender in the order listed above (liquid first!). Blend to desired thickness; extra liquid or frozen banana can be added for a thinner or thicker smoothie. Bottoms up!
